    Jason McNees is a Conservation Data Analyst for NatureServe. Jason’s primary responsibilities are serving as NatureServe’s Data Request Coordinator, and serving as technical lead on various data projects. Jason joined NatureServe in 2000 and is experienced with database management and performing both tabular and GIS data analyses. Previously Jason worked for Straughan Environmental Services, Inc. in Maryland as a Senior Environmental Scientist performing environmental assessments and water quality monitoring. A native of western Pennsylvania, he received a B.S. in Biology from Salisbury University and a B.S. in Environmental Marine Science from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.
